President Obama Announces A Summer of "United We Serve"
United We Serve will kick off on June 22 at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service in San Francisco and will run through the new National Day of Service and Remembrance on September 11.  All the tools for participating in this initiative can be found on the Corporation’s website, Serve.gov.  Please go there today to post your volunteer projects.  Economic recovery is as much about what you're doing in your communities, as what they are doing in Washington – and it’s going to take all of us, working together. Serve.gov makes it easy for you and all Americans not only to find ways to serve in your communities, but also to create and promote your own service projects.
