Students must be admitted to an undergraduate or graduate degree program and be attending full-time. Scholarships are renewable with satisfactory academic achievement. As all of our programs are two years in length for full-time students, the total award is $4,000.

There are two different options for the AmeriCorps Scholarship program at Augsburg College.
The first option is for students enrolling full time in the undergraduate day college. The Augsburg AmeriCorps Scholarship awards $5,000 to qualified AmeriCorps members currently serving or who have served for at least one year. Must be certified as eligible by director of AmeriCorps site, be accepted for admission, and be a full-time day student.
The second option is for students enrolling in either
the Weekend College or one of the Graduate programs. AmeriCorps
volunteers who have served at least half-time for
one year and who are qualified for admission to Augsburg
College may receive a 25% tuition credit for one course
each term for the duration of study.

Bastyr University is offering an AmeriCorps scholarship to qualified AmeriCorps alumni in recognition of academic potential and leadership in the field of Natural Health. This scholarship will provide $1500 to $2500 towards tuition to any AmeriCorps student who is admitted to Bastyr University through the regular admissions process. Bastyr University offers Bachelor’s degrees in the areas of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Health Psychology, Herbal Sciences, Exercise Science and Wellness, and Nutrition. Graduate programs offered include a Master of Science in Acupuncture/Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Master of Science in Nutrition, Master of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology, Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science (Leadership Institute of Seattle), and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. This AmeriCorps scholarship will be awarded in addition to any academic or need based scholarship that the student may be offered. Upon acceptance, they will receive a matching scholarship, up to a maximum of $1,000 per academic year. Candidates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will automatically be eligible for additional scholarships offered through the College. Students must be admitted to Bennett College for Women and attending on a full-time basis. Awards will be matched upon receipt of the AmeriCorps voucher. education award at the ration of 1:4. For example,
if a student earns the full $4,725 from AmeriCorps,
Bethel will contribute a Bethel grant in the amount
of $1,181, with the following caveats: 1. The student
must be enrolled at Bethel at least half-time in order
to receive an award. 2. The funds will be prorated
if the student is not full-time. 3. The student must
have completed one full term of service with AmeriCorps
to qualify for the Bethel grant. 4. The Bethel grant
will be limited to two years. 5. The AmeriCorps education
award augmentation grant, when combined with other
grants/scholarship dollars, can never exceed full
