Recruitment Begins for 2009 Members
AmeriCorps members, your service year is almost over! Time flies when you're having fun. RurAL CAP will be mailing packets to community and tribal councils all over rural Alaska next week to recruit for next year's members. We're looking for BIRCH, RAVEN, VISTA Energy members to join AmeriCorps and "get things done" for Alaska. To download application packets, see the Program page on this site. Members interested in doing a second year should contact their program coordinators for more details on how to apply.
Nominations for Environmental Awards
Do you know someone that has really made a difference in their community in regards to the health of our environment? Please take a moment to nominate them by downloading the form, filling it out and returning it to Ellen Kazary at RurAL CAP by September 29th. The awards will be presented at this year's ATCEM conference on October 28th.
