Solid Waste Tribal Liaison (EPA)

Ted Jacobson
Ted is the Solid Waste Tribal Liaison for Alaska. He assists the Environmental Protection Agency under a grant through the Senior Service America, Inc. Senior Environmental Employment Program (SSAI/SEE). Ted is located at the Anchorage RurAL CAP administrative office, under the Community Development Division. He's been serving in this position since September 2006.
Ted provides a vital link to solid waste information for RurAL CAP staff, AmeriCorps/VISTA members, federally recognized tribes, and Alaska villages. He has over 15 years experience as a senior landfill operator, overseeing composting, incineration, recycling, and equipment acquisitions. Ted has 40 hour HAZ-WOPER certification, and is a RALO instructor.
